Invisible communication (Amy suo wu):
Analog:
Steganography is the art and science of embedding secret messages within openly accessible information in such a way that the presence of a secret message is hidden. Invisible inks are one of the oldest forms of steganography, dating back to at least the fourth century BC.

They can be made using both common household ingredients such as lemon juice, milk, starch, vinegar, ammonia, bleach and even bodily fluids, and more difficult-to-obtain chemicals such as iron sulphate, nitric acid, cobalt chloride, silver nitrate and sulphuric acid. As the name implies, invisible ink remains unseen until it is rendered visible through various activation methods.

Cryptography, however, is much more commonly used. According to American historian Kristie Macrakis, the popularity of the mathematical endeavour of cryptography over the alchemically aligned steganography had to do with the scientific revolution and its bias toward a rational discourse.

An abjad (/ˈæbdʒæd/) is a type of writing system in which each symbol or glyph stands for a consonant, leaving the reader to supply the appropriate vowel. So-called impure abjads do represent vowels, either with optional diacritics, a limited number of distinct vowel glyphs, or both. The name abjad is based on the Arabic alphabet's (in the original order) first four letters—a, b, j, d—to replace the common terms "consonantary" or "consonantal alphabet" to refer to the family of scripts called West Semitic.

Guerrilla Girls

is an anonymous group of feminist, female artists devoted to fighting sexism and racism within the art world. The group formed in New York City in 1985 with the mission of bringing gender and racial inequality into focus within the greater arts community. The group employs culture jamming in the form of posters, books, billboards, and public appearances to expose discrimination and corruption. To remain anonymous, members don gorilla masks and use pseudonyms that refer to deceased female artists. According to GG1, identities are concealed because issues matter more than individual identities, "[M]ainly, we wanted the focus to be on the issues, not on our personalities or our own work.
Riot grrrl

is an underground feminist punk movement that began in the early 1990s in Washington state (particularly Olympia) and the greater Pacific Northwest. It also had origins in Washington, D.C., and spread to at least 26 countries. It is a subcultural movement that combines feminist consciousness and punk style and politics. It is often associated with third-wave feminism, which is sometimes seen as having grown out of the Riot Grrrl movement. It has also been described as a musical genre that came out of indie rock, with the punk scene serving as an inspiration for a musical movement in which women could express themselves in the same way men had been doing all along.
Lo-fi (DIY Music)

is a music or production quality in which elements usually regarded as imperfections of a recording or performance are audible, sometimes as a deliberate aesthetic choice. The standards of sound quality (fidelity) and music production have evolved throughout the decades, meaning that some older examples of lo-fi may not have been originally recognized as such. Lo-fi began to be recognized as a style of popular music in the 1990s, when it became alternately referred to as DIY music.

Beat Happening:

is an American indie pop band formed in Olympia, Washington in 1982. Calvin Johnson, Heather Lewis, and Bret Lunsford have been the band's continual members. Beat Happening were early leaders in the American indie pop and lo-fi movements, noted for their use of primitive recording techniques, disregard for the technical aspects of musicianship, and songs with subject matters of a childish or coy nature.
